Hack Into Productivity

Ever wonder how to get more out of your 24 hour day?
Ever ache to get things done, but it seems there’s so little time?
The trick to getting more done in the same amount of time allotted to everyone can be found in three simple everyday hacks or techniques that we often take for granted.

Outline! Outline! Outline!

Now you don’t need to actually write your outline down on paper, it can just be a mental sketch of what needs to be done, but the point is you need one. It organizes all your tasks and acts as a road map to your destination, which is – getting the task done! If you have an outline, you are 10 steps closer to getting things done.

Keep Deadlines!

This is probably the most important of the three. Keep abreast of deadlines given or set deadlines for yourselves. Set an alarm when things are due and try your best to finish work before the given time so that you can check, re-check and check again the details of the task to be completed. The point of deadlines, is to keep us in check, always toeing the line as the word suggests, but how about refusing to let the line and alarms define you? How about beating the clock and doing it well. How about not waiting till the last minute? Have a deadline, but don’t wait till alarms sound to finish it.

Procrastination is NOT your friend!

Yes! You read that correctly.
Stop wasting time saying later and tomorrow and next week.
Do it now. Just get up, take a breath and say to yourself, “I have too much to do and so much to be to waste my time on one single project.”

Nike had it right when they tag-lined… “Just Do It.”

Hack into your productivity and see it work for you.
