Scribble on board
black to receive colours
different and I will wait with brush ready to clean your thoughts.

Draw them here and place on walls
house, bar, office, church
places different to represent stencils lining paper.

A. B. C. D. E. F. G
So we pause, grip to black and stick it to board
painted black to receive colours. Different.

H. I. J. K. L. M. N
So we still time, naked breaths and hands against chest
tongues painting different, waiting to brush clean your thoughts.

O. P. Q. R. S. T. U
So we go slow, under covers discover that chalkboard black
is built into senses on edge as scribbles make no sense
to understanding the painting. Different.

V. W. X. Y. Z
So we stop. Destination Z. Last letter in alphabet
becomes drawn on board black to receive colours.
Different.

Scribbles different. Painted scribbles. Drawn different.
Dust and chalk different. Writing on board. Different.

Days that stick like glue. Different.
Notes of days when we miss each other. You.
Stick to me and I’ll make note of you.

Scribble you across my heart. Mind. Fingertips.

Time.

Sticky Notes is a new short blog attack where Gravity will rant/comment/relay snippets of expressions that are of note and share them with Gripping Black from July 13 – 17, 2015.
