Musings of the Gods

When we focus, things get brighter, bigger and clearer.

Ever seen an out of focus photograph? Blurry right?
You don’t know where to look, what to see as important,
relevant or even right? It’s hard to picture the days of
our lives when the camera we use shutters focus.

Click and flash become our daily chalk and talk routine
and we fail to remember that the snapshot of our lives
becomes reality television after the printed photo
passes from hand to hand and smiles extend
and mhms and ahhs turn to okays and yeahs.

Ever seen an out of focus photograph? Blurry right?
Those are the ones I like the best, for they force us
too see beyond our eyes and feel beyond our skin
and experience with our entire being what the meaning,
purpose and possibilities of such a shaken photo could be.
